Village Hall

Village Hall Purchase a Defribrilltor

SVH logoThe Village Hall now has a defibrillator available for use of hirers of the hall and the general public. The defibrillator is fixed to the east side wall of the building so that it is easily accessible.

In the event of a suspected cardiac arrest you should dial 999 or 112 and ask for the ambulance service giving your telephone number, where you are and giving defibrillator number 1377. You will be asked a series of questions which you should answer to the best of your ability. This will take only a few moments and will not delay the ambulance.

You will be given the code number to open the defibrillator box. In the meantime it is important that someone should be performing “hands only” chest compressions until professional help arrives.

Once the box is opened, take out the defibrillator and follow the instructions. This equipment has been provided from village hall funds.
